VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Operations Strategy and Planning for our Devens, MA, location.
Job Purpose
The Senior Manager of Operations Strategy and Planning will focus broadly across VulcanForms to drive business planning and deep within the Operations organization to drive strategy and planning. Working across the Leadership Team, this role will drive the execution of the corporate management operating system, ensuring all organizations are aligned and executing our company strategy. This role will be responsible for developing and deploying strategies focused on scaling our growth capacity. You’ll be responsible for translating strategy into action by scoping and launching transformational initiatives. The ideal candidate will enjoy working both at the strategic and tactical levels, with a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Own operations roadmap with a focus on capacity expansion and profitable growth.
- Lead execution of our corporate management operating system.
- Lead operations planning cadences, such as SIOP.
- Drive data analysis for Operations and Supply Chain.
- Devise and implement strategies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Work with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to align goals and meet business targets.
- Guide the Leadership Team in executing strategies, ensuring proper controls, metrics, and updates.
- Collaborate with Finance on business planning and long-range financial planning.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to pinpoint improvement areas and take corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
- MBA strongly preferred
- Five years of operations planning or strategy experience
- End-to-end supply chain knowledge
- Proven cross-functional leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with scenario planning
- Ability to communicate at all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing organizational goal
