VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for our Devens, MA location.

Job Purpose

As a Senior Financial Analyst in our Devens, MA, location, you will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities supporting the Finance organization in building out internal reporting and operational processes. The individual will work closely with management to analyze, review, and interpret financial performance, as well as work on project-based activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with Finance leadership and key stakeholders in establishing process and driving improvements for operational excellence
  • Act as business partner across functions to produce and analyze department reporting, driving recommendations and better business decisions.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans in coordination with ongoing alignment with leadership.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Participate in the production and improvement of accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Contribute into the financial account close process by posting journal entries and performing reconciliations.
  • Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Perform ad hoc duties, analysis and projects as requested.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities in reviewing financial statements and activity
  • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and modeling.
  • Ability to work independently or with others to drive actions forward.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced with both Finance and Accounting
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Epicor
