VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Director of Human Resources for our Devens, MA location. This position is based out of VulcanForms Inc. Devens, MA location with visits to all MA locations.
Job Purpose
As the Director of Human Resources at VulcanForms Inc., Devens, MA, you will be a strategic contributor who collaborates with the executive and leadership team to support the VulcanForms objectives. This includes building a culture of diverse and innovative employees who strive for excellence. You will guide us on our HR strategy, employee engagement, and manage programs to foster a top workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic HR leadership in areas of organizational development, talent acquisition and retention, performance management, diversity and inclusion, labor laws/legal compliance, and training and development programs
- Lead, mentor, guide, coach and develop the HRBP Team responsible for company-wide delivery of HR services and to assist with the resolution of human resources matters and employee relations
- Provide leadership and action plans for how to best evolve company leadership, culture, and strategy to ensure organizational effectiveness and succession needs are met
- Collaborate with talent management team to continue innovative best practices for talent management methods that enable and sustain company growth
- Continually investigate attractive benefit programs, recommending add-ons and reviewing compensation to remain competitive
- Implement and measure the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at supporting the performance, growth, reward, and engagement of all employees
- Monitor and ensure VulcanForms is compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices
- Partner with Senior Corporate Counsel to ensure legal compliance for all locations in the interest of mitigating VulcanForms exposure and risk, with respect to employees
- Remain a visible, involved, and engaged leader that supports employees throughout VulcanForms and remain an integral part of the Human Resources Team
- Review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance and improvements
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR roles
- Minimum 3 years of supervising an HR Team
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) or HR Generalist
- Close collaboration with company leadership and management from all VulcanForms departments
- Strong understanding of compliance and safety policies and procedures
Preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional and/or SPHR credential preferred
- Experience in Manufacturing and Mergers and Acquisitions a plus
