Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product/Program Manager to join our precision CNC shop team in Newburyport, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of our CNC products and programs, from ideation to delivery, ensuring that they meet our customers’ needs and quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC machining, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage CNC product and program strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products and programs that align with our business goals.
  • Manage the product and program development process, including requirements gathering, design, prototyping, testing, and launch.
  • Define and prioritize product and program features based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that products and programs are produced to meet our quality standards and within budget and timelines.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products and programs, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion.
  • Customer contact and communication, monitor product and program performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future updates and enhancements.
  • Ensure that all products and programs comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product/program management in the CNC machining industry.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining process and technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products and programs on time and within budget.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
