This role is critical to Veev's mission of transforming the construction industry with modern, sustainable, and efficient construction techniques. In this role, you will directly contribute to the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of modern home construction by video producing marketing content. Your work will have a tangible impact on Veev’s ability to scale operations and drive industry-wide change.

The Role

As a Visual Content Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how our brand communicates internally and externally through high-quality, engaging video content at Veev. You’ll contribute to producing high-quality video and podcast content for multiple platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple teams and contribute to Veev’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee the creation of original, high-quality visual content and high-impact visual storytelling. Manage the process from ideation through production to completion, including dissemination and archiving across a diverse array of communications channels and media.
    • Produce videos tailored for high-impact dissemination on social media and the web, featuring Veev executives, team members, homebuyers, community members, and other stakeholders.
    • Shoot photos and video of Veev events and activities as needed.
  • Take independent ownership of complex video projects: Plan, research, prepare, produce, and archive professional-quality digital content to elevate the Veev brand and tell engaging stories to inspire our audiences, including prospective customers, real estate brokers, homebuyers, prospective and current team members, and Lennar stakeholders.
    • Lead video development from conceptualization through completion.
    • Requires extensive collaboration with senior leaders, team members, and other stakeholders.
    • Ongoing management of video production, overseeing editorial calendar, ideation, and production plans.
  • Develop and implement a variety of content to support video dissemination across web, social media, and video platforms.
    • Oversee the development of supporting materials for videos, including brand development, YouTube descriptions, web stories, and related social media content. Create both video and written materials.
    • Apply search engine optimization best practices to enhance visibility and engagement
    • May produce podcast or other audio content as well.
  • Manage vendors on multiple projects, ensuring projects are produced successfully on time and on budget.
  • Provide strategic video expertise to the department, and to stakeholders across the organization to support and enable successful video production. Manage all aspects of video production including equipment, file management, and archiving.
  • Contribute to the development of ongoing video strategy and manage the video production budget to align resources with strategy
  • Serve as internal project leader. May provide guidance and video skills training to other staff.
  • Produce and direct company podcasts that highlight industry trends, executive insights, and internal thought leadership.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the company’s podcast/broadcast studio and equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform audio editing, mixing, and mastering to create professional-quality podcast episodes.
  • Ensure all podcast content aligns with branding and corporate communication objectives.
  • Evaluate video performance across all channels for effectiveness and evolve our strategic approaches. Produce reports to communicate data and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Plan and execute related duties and projects, as requested

Must-Have Skills and Competencies

These are critical skills, competencies, and qualifications required for success in this role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Camtasia
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
  • Comprehensive knowledge in production techniques including videography, compression and file delivery and other production formats
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional quality productions, including field and studio camera, lighting, sound and editing
  • Proven savvy and understanding of online video environment and online distribution, including social media content creation or management. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) for publishing and managing digital content

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience motivating and organizing a cross-functional team of people to execute deliverables
  • Ability to communicate and articulate digital media products and options and adapt to alternatives when appropriate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment, and diplomacy required to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience, including high-level executives
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and executing archival digitization projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Involves travel

Industry Knowledge:

  • 3-5 years of experience in video production, content marketing, and digital storytelling
  • Experience in a corporate environment, preferably within B2B, real estate, construction, or technology industries, is a plus

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience

Compensation

Offers are based on a combination of experience, skills, and location. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $120k - $140k annually for Hayward.
