Quality Control Technician - Site

Position Overview

As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the Building & Integration process. You will work closely with the Building & Integration team to develop and implement inspection procedures, checklists, and acceptance criteria. Your primary objective will be to maintain zero defects at the end of the Building & Integration process, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, and product excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the Building & Integration team to create inspection procedures, checklists, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct inspections throughout the Building & Integration process, meticulously documenting and analyzing inspection results.
  • Trend inspection data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist in writing procedures for Building & Integration personnel, ensuring clarity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Define critical components and develop test methods to evaluate their performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards across all stages of production.
  • Utilize your expertise in manufacturing QC to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Oversee local travel to various sites, conducting inspections and providing on-site support as needed.
  • Maintain clear and concise records of all inspection activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing inspection procedures and checklists.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and trend inspection data effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and industry standards preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $30.00-$35.00 per hour for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
