Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multi-disciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dedicated team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing and Construction Quality:
    • Oversee and optimize quality control processes in manufacturing and construction environments.
    • Work closely with production and construction teams to identify and address quality issues.
    • Implement preventive measures to ensure high-quality output.
    • Partner with construction teams to introduce quality processes, process documentation, and test methods.
  • Supplier Quality Management:
    • Partner with Supply Chain to establish supplier categorization and acceptance criteria.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain robust quality control processes.
    • Conduct supplier audits to assess and improve their quality performance.
    • Develop and implement strategies for supplier quality improvement.
  • Incoming Inspection:
    • Design and implement effective incoming inspection procedures for raw materials and components.
    • Collaborate with procurement to communicate quality expectations to suppliers.
  • Test Method Development:
    • Develop, validate, and optimize test methods for product and process validation.
    • Ensure that testing procedures align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Utilize statistical tools to assess process capability and drive data-driven decision-making.
    • Report on on-going quality metric results.
  • Procedure Creation and Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain quality procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Train relevant personnel on new or updated quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management principles.
  • Experience in supplier quality management and conducting supplier audits.
  • Background in manufacturing and/or construction quality control.
  • Strong skills in incoming inspection processes and methods.
  • Proven ability in test method development and validation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using statistical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $100,000- $120,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
