Job Description

Third Wave Automation is looking for a Business Development Representative to work with the sales team and help generate new business opportunities.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Actively seek opportunities to develop and grow Third Wave Automations market share
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Develop new customer leads into sales opportunities
  • Oversee strategies and processes for new business development that drives revenue growth and demonstrates Third Wave Automations value proposition in the market
  • Consult with clients to identify their business objectives and logistics challenges, and advise on solutions provided by Third Wave Automation
  • Develop a business plan for your approach for prospecting, closing and managing customers
  • Assist in the development of a marketing direction and approach for the company
  • Drive awareness of Third Wave Automation and our capabilities to extend our reach and reputation in the market
  • Capture customer feedback regarding other areas of interest
  • Develop internal partnerships across all functions and role levels

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, Sales Development Representative or similar role
  • Experience working with selling or working with warehouse operators
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (Including cold calls, objection handling, record keeping)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Full time opportunity only

Bonus Points For

  • Working knowledge of mobile robotics, material handling, forklifts, industrial racking, or other industrial automation technologies
  • Startup experience
  • Social selling experience on platforms such as LinkedIn

The pay range for this position is a national range $65,000 - $100,000/yr+ commission/bonus+ benefits+equity; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is also based on market location.
