As the first member of our Taiwan expansion team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our operations in the region. As an ML Processor Bring-Up and Validation Engineer within our System Engineering team, you will work at the exciting intersection of machine learning and systems engineering. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge ML processor architecture, embedded firmware development, board design and debugging while supporting our local CMs.

This role is remote, based out of Taiwan.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute ML processor, board, and system bring-up and validation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain system firmware for embedded devices and systems.
  • Work closely with our local CM partners on system and firmware requirements.
  • Build out CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality firmware deliverables
  • Architect and develop frameworks for automating post-silicon verification, data analysis, and debugging.
  • Drive issue debugging across all product life cycle phases: bring-up, validation, and production.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering with more than 10 years of experience
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent programming skills in C, C++, and Python
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and logic design
  • Experience in scripting and test automation
  • Good understanding of circuit design, power regulation, high speed signal propagation
  • Experience using lab equipment: high speed oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analyzers
  • Interest in and understanding of machine learning
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally and drive issues to closure
