As the Senior AP Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function and ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of all financial transactions. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and compliance with our policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, approve, and process purchase orders and expense reports.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function.
  • Participate in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools to support the growing needs of the company.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable.
  • Prior experience working in a startup environment or high-growth company is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification such as CPA is a plus, but not required.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
