Now a little more about what you could be doing as part of our team and contributing to Swift’s mission and vision. As a GNSS Reference Network Coordinator on the team you will be responsible for managing the build out and growth of our base station network. This network supports our technologies for autonomous vehicles using advanced GNSS processing techniques. Swift Navigation is on a mission to enable a future of autonomous vehicles to navigate and understand the world.

Responsibilities


Reporting to the Skylark Network Engineering Manager, this position will manage the overall deployment of base station projects. You’ll work with a team of Field Technicians, Surveyors, and management to:

  • Collaborate with Swift team to support single-site leasing transactions and influence new opportunities with existing and prospective landlords.
  • Organize site acquisition activities all with varying scope, coordinate field construction work with the support of the Swift technical team.
  • Work with Swift partners as the point of contact for pre and post construction coordination activities, escalation issues, and keeping teams informed of progress for each location.
  • Execute deployment plans, managing effective deployment of technician resources.
  • Manage site material requirements, procurement, and delivery with support of Swift procurement and finance teams.
  • Establish and manage metrics.
  • Organize field inspection reports and coordinate correction/remediation procedures with the Swift team.
  • Work with the Field Technicians to ensure all expenses are coded appropriately.
  • Organize and manage meetings with Swift Partners, track action items, reports on progress, etc.


Education/Certifications

  • AA, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Previous experience managing people remotely
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and managing customer issues to resolution
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents, site plans, financial reports, and contracts

Required skills/abilities:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience managing similar projects including budget, costs, and revenue oversight activities
  • Knowledge of deployment project management, and asset management
  • Demonstrated experience of implementing processes that scale
  • Demonstrated success working cross functionally
  • Ability to direct a program and project subsets by setting schedules, milestones, goals and priorities
  • Strong computer skills especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Project management SW
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose work flow problems and apply solutions

Desired skills/experience:

  • Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless technologies, GNSS, and network construction
  • Prior experience managing large geographical infrastructure buildout of CORS or telecom network
  • Knowledge of SiteTracker and/or SalesForce
  • Knowledge of Atlassian (E.g. Confluence, Jira)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $137,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
