PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team to ensure reliable and compliant facility and equipment operations

• Provide technical guidance and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for equipment, maintenance, and commissioning/qualification/validation (CQV) activities

• Lead department initiatives in continuous improvement to optimize performance, reduce downtime, and deliver cost-saving outcomes

• Participate in the preparation and execution of documentation activities in accordance with CGMP requirements.

• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Regulatory functions to support project activities and issue resolution

• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Mentor, develop, and evaluate maintenance staff with varying skill sets, fostering a high-performing and accountable team culture

• Perform staff planning to maintain adequate coverage and ensure 24/7 support of manufacturing operations.

• Support the establishment and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Work extended hours, weekends, or travel as required to meet production needs

• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related discipline required.

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a maintenance team in a regulated manufacturing environment required.

• Proven experience in managing teams within a cGMP-regulated environment. Radiopharmaceutical experience preferred but not required.

• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, reliability engineering, and CQV documentation practices.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams effectively

• Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting in high-compliance environments

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working for extended periods in cleanroom environments and able to lift up to 70 lbs.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CMMS and project management tools.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality

• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and travel as needed to support production schedules.

THE FINE PRINT:

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year. Please note that compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Team members in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off in compliance with applicable law. Relocation is available to qualified team members.
