About Mytra

We're creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We're applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We're focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, the sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a sleepy industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.

Role Overview

Mytra's Customer Experience (CX) and Go-To-Market (GTM) Team is looking for a Sustainment Technician to bring industry-leading service to our customer sites. The CX & GTM Operations team is the connective tissue between internal Mytra functions and the end user. We ensure the product is correctly commissioned at our customer sites and that the end users know how to use the system in the best possible way to reap the most benefit for their organization.

As a Sustainment Technician, you will travel to customer sites to support and maintain automation systems. When not actively supporting customer systems onsite, Sustainment Technicians support training and contribute to developing or improving support procedures. The Deployment and Sustainment Team balances time spent on site, at HQ, and remote; however, this role will often be on-site, sustaining operations via issue response or completing scheduled maintenance. This role requires up to 90% travel.

Example Projects

  • Read and interpret system logs to diagnose a recurring system fault that results in unexpected bot behavior. Triage the fault relative to any other system repairs or maintenance requests. Follow documented procedures to resolve the issue.
  • Create a report of system observations for engineers to further improve the resilience of the system
  • Support commissioning a new system at a customer site including system sensor and bot calibration, software updates, network connectivity
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines to replace sensors on robot actuators at an existing customer site after engineering updates specifications
  • Train additional customer operators to use the system at an existing customer site
  • Assemble, install, and maintain robots, physical structures, software, and auxiliary equipment both at customer sites and at our base of operations through Work Orders (WO) and Support Tickets
  • Train other Mytra Sustainment Technicians to grow our company

The Ideal Candidate

  • You are excited about working on an immature project, growing together, and shaping the future of the company
  • Uncertainty isn't scary, and you're natural tendency is to realize mistakes, work with cross-functionally diverse teams to solve complex problems, and pivot
  • Openness, inquisitiveness, and constant ambition are important values
  • You perform assigned tasks through to completion with efficiency
  • You are familiar with 5S principles and will implement at customer sites to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
  • You are familiar with root-cause analysis (RCA) methodology and tools
  • You can interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, metric/imperial tolerances, and measure parts for conformity
  • You enjoy using hand tools, fabrication tools, and related equipment to create and maintain complex machines
  • You are familiar with software such as Notion, Slack, Confluence, Jira, and command-line interfaces (CLI) such as Terminal
  • You are comfortable operating a forklift, scissor lift, and other industrial equipment
