We are looking for a candidate with the ability to thrive in an environment with complex software and hardware designs, take ownership and be responsible for testing the performance and functionality of a novel ophthalmic robotic platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, verify, document, and assemble core products and test fixtures/Jigs.
  • Participate in the integration and assembly of R&D and V&V systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (product, regulatory, system engineers, mechanical, and SW).
  • Undertaking relevant integration and de-bug activities.
  • Executing R&D and V&V testing of ForSight products.
  • Generate test reports and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Technician or Practical engineer (preferred) degree/certification –Mechanical.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in design tools such as SolidWorks or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding and experience in design for manufacturing, design for experiments and testing, and assembly.
  • Great research orientation – systematic & organized.
  • Results-oriented, hands-on approach.
  • Good communication & presentation skills.

** A temporary position for six months, with an option to extend.
