We are looking for an electronics team manager.

The successful applicant for this position should have experience leading electronics development teams in a multidisciplinary environment, prioritizing tasks and managing human resources, along with expertise in electronics design and processes, including board design, VHDL/Verilog, transfer to production, manufacturing, wiring specifications, and problem-solving. The candidate should be highly motivated, possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, and have a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams will be crucial for success.

Responsibilities

  • Leading electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient team operation.
  • Fostering the professional growth and well-being of team members.
  • Translating system requirements into electrical architecture, including both hardware and firmware components.
  • Driving innovation and enhancing the system's electrical and electronic components.
  • Collaborating closely with system engineering, mechanical, and software teams to ensure cohesive project development.
  • Responsible for the full product life cycle: from planning and executing electrical system design stages to integration, transition to production, in-house support, and on-site assistance.
  • Managing the procurement and tracking of boards, cables, and electrical parts throughout the R&D phase.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical device regulatory requirements for design, development, and verification and validation.
  • Taking a forward-thinking approach to build a resilient and adaptable team and leadership for long-term success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years as a team leader.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary system and electronics design.
  • Experience in robotics and/or motion systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in technological aspects of PCB production, assembly, and testing.
  • Experience with safety and EMC standards and testing methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to manage, track, and identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing highly skilled developers, with the ability to lead, coach, guide, and influence them.
  • Hands-on approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Love for learning new things, desire to make an impact, and value for patients.
