About the role
As a Project Coordinator on the HVAC & Electrical Team at Forge, you will play an important role as the first point of contact for our Pros in the field, our partners, and other internal teams. We look to you to ensure that everyone involved has a great experience working at, and with, Forge. In this role, you will act as a project manager, overseeing the day to day operations of the crews assigned to you. You will need to be a strong communicator, highly organized and ready to solve problems.
This role is required to be in the Newton office 5 days a week. The anticipated pay range for this role is $55-$70k annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
What you'll do
- Own End-to-end Project Coordination - Responsible for assessing the scope of work and keeping the project on track. This includes but is not limited to: planning, assigning and scheduling pros to the project, procuring the materials or equipment needed and obtaining permits.
- Project Scheduling/Assignments - Maintaining a full schedule for all Pros in your assigned crew using various software platforms and tools; balancing the requirements of partners with ensuring Pros safety and bandwidth.
- Internal Pro Communications - Act as the main point of contact on the ground for Pros assigned to your crews, including but not limited to: project discussion, job issues, scheduling adjustments/pivots, scope questions/confirmations, and general updates.
- Customer and Partner Communications - Communicate daily/weekly with our various partners and directly with customers (homeowners), providing any information and updates, answering questions, and managing invoicing.
- Documentation & Analysis - Maintain clear records of every job, including expected revenue, days to complete, labor and expenses, customer completion forms, method of payment, invoicing, crew composition and any other relevant information.
- Optimize Operations - Constantly propose process improvements and changes for our teams in order to optimize efficiency, increase revenue, adapt to the ever changing landscape, and most importantly, keep the team safe and happy.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders including customers, crews, peers etc.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks - you are excellent at time management.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable with change and a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with technology and able to adapt to new software (G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, resource/scheduling software, invoicing software, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the trades and/or a startup environment.
- Experience scheduling and assigning teams of people.
- Experience creating cost sheets and invoicing.
- Experience in a Lean Operations environment.
