This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.

Job Summary

Product Engineer owns of all aspects of Product’s performance from the concept development to high vol production. The Product Engineer aligns customer requirements with internal specifications. This position shall review the manufacturing process and validate adherence to all product specifications and define/lead/drive yield and quality aspects including various product improvement initiatives and change management. In addition, this person shall directly and indirectly interface with customers on technical issues throughout the sales/NPI lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with customer and internal R&D teams to ensure successful integration of Enovix cells into specific devices/applications
  • Algin product design and internal specifications with customer product requirements
  • Negotiate and manage documentation of product specifications
  • Prepare preliminary proposal drawings and specifications for new opportunities
  • Analyze manufacturing process data for adherence to product specification. Identify sources for non-compliance through failure analysis, experiments, etc. and drive corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively with customers and internal process teams to resolve product performance issues throughout the product lifecycle (qualification to obsolescence)
  • Generate and maintain design rules for new technology nodes
  • Drive cost and performance enhancement related product improvements initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in an Engineering/Electronics or in a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in Engineering
  • Experience in Product Engineering, Product Quality, or Product Design required
  • Knowledge of Li-ion battery technology is highly desired
  • Experience with SPC, data systems
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
