This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.

Enovix is seeking a Product Integration Engineer to create and deploy novel designs and processes for high volume automated assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new / novel methods of battery assembly and/or assembly methodologies
  • Validate process capability of new advanced manufacturing methodologies
  • Work with Equipment Engineers to suggest new / novel processes that enable reliable high-volume manufacturing
  • Prototype tooling and fixtures necessary to conduct experiments in house
  • Contribute to a manufacturing process architecture
  • Conduct DFMEA / PFMEA and determine dependencies cross-functionally across the org.
  • Work with supplier partners to optimize system design and performance
  • Support manufacturing process scale up activities and production ramp
  • Support escalation activities and troubleshoot production processes
  • Use equipment performance data to drive improvement projects
  • Effectively communicate and publish learnings and experimental results.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and processes with a dependencies across the process flow.
  • Hands-on experience with battery development, assembly and integration
  • First principles approach to problem solving
  • Familiarity with process development, and CAD
  • Expert at statistical data analysis (JMP / Minitab)
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, highly creative environment
  • 5+ years of experience developing products and processes for high volume / high speed manufacturing
  • BS/MS Degree, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
