Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a mechanical focus to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and equipment to meet customer demands and product quality requirements. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes and equipment for mechanical components, including mechanical assembly, machining, and inspection.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, and process specifications.
  • Conduct process evaluations and improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering to drive process improvements and resolve production issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical-related production issues, including equipment malfunctions and product defects.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with supply chain to source and evaluate new suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Participate in new product launch preparation and production ramp-up.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company products and manufacturing processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in mechanical components or assembly.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including kinematics, dynamics, and thermodynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with process improvement tools and techniques, such as lean manufacturing and six sigma.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other productivity software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with robotics, automation, and computer-controlled manufacturing processes.
  • Certifications in lean manufacturing, six sigma, or related fields.
