About the Role

Cerebras Systems seeks a self-driven Supply Chain Professional to support procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services for our next generation products. In this role, you will negotiate and place orders with vendors, track delivery schedules, and collaborate with the Engineering and Operations organizations to support meeting program schedules. The role also entails maintaining the current lead time and pricing information for the product bill of materials and participation in ECO workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Timely order placements, transactions, and schedule feedback
  • Review quotes, negotiate pricing, and communicate effectively with suppliers
  • Execute material and genealogy transactions in an ERP system
  • Update product BOMs with current lead time and pricing data
  • Analyze purchase requisitions and review for accuracy and completion
  • Identify and select vendors using criteria such as quantity and quality of commodities, price, and delivery date
  • Review ECO’s and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to establish procurement plans
  • Coordinate production builds with manufacturing partners
  • Update delivery schedules in ERP and Program Management planning tools
  • Engage with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing organizations to address part DFM and quality concerns
  • Place transactions in the ERP system related to purchase orders and inventory

Requirements

  • Highly driven and self-motivated personality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and software applications
  • 7+ years purchasing or related experience
  • ERP experience (Netsuite a plus)
  • PDM experience (Arena a plus)
  • Familiarity with mechanical/electronic components and PCB assembly
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing/fabrication processes
  • Ability to read mechanical/design drawings
  • Project management experience a plus
  • CM experience a plus
